An early photo (probably 1929) from the Palmer cabin on Pinecrest showing the original clubhouse and bridge. The 2026 photo shows the new, larger & higher bridge and shoreline with the General Store converted to the Club office. Trees obscure the newer clubhouse, but you can see Mulholland Highway (1959) peeking out from the brush.
Same panorama from the Palmer cabin but now pointing down toward Triunfo. Notice the Bremer cabin peeking out from the right (still there!). The main island didn't show up until much later (along with all those trees that block the view of the island).
Same panorama from the Palmer cabin but now pointing down toward the dam. Notice the Nylin cabin peeking out from the left with no road to it yet. The Hathaway stone boathouse is still standing along with the Peck cottage on Rosecrest.
This is an early undated image of Cornell. Notice the rock wall going off screen right. You can find this early road on some of our maps in the maps section.
